Picture above can tell you what is B.A.R.F. Diet

The Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (BARF) diet by Australian veterinarian Ian Billinghurst is a holistic approach to canine nutrition. Enthusiasts refer to the diet as “Bones And Raw Food,” “Billinghurst Australian Real Food,” and “Born Again Raw Feeders.” Billinghurst’s philosophy focuses on emulating an undomesticated dog’s diet. Feeding raw meats, uncooked vegetables and bones creates a balanced diet of proteins, minerals and essential nutrients. Skeptics of the BARF diet question the safety of feeding raw meats, while proponents advocate a dog’s need for an unprocessed, grain-free diet.

Picture above is finah process for B.A.R.F. Diet Food look like

Concept
According to Billinghurst, cooked and processed meats in conventional dog food lack living enzymes, which help keep dogs healthy. Billinghurst believes a diet of raw foods gives dogs the full nutritional benefits of the foods they eat.

Picture above is Analog weight measurements

The Diet
Raw foods included in the BARF diet contain antioxidants, phyto-chemicals and unprocessed amino acids. (See Reference 1) Raw ground meat, whole and ground meaty-bones, non-muscular animal internal organs (animal offel) and raw vegetables dominate the menu. A BARF diet may also includes raw eggs, yogurt, fruit, nutritional supplements and cottage cheese. (See Reference 2)

Picture above is the packing, after packed need keep at Refrigerator inside Freezer

Benefits
Billinghurst claims dogs exhibit less dental tarter build-up, improved breath and less incidence of periodontal disease on the BARF diet and reduces skin irritations from food allergies and produces a thick, shiny coat. The diet also promotes rejuvenation of the immune system, minimal infections and inflammatory problems. Billinghurst also claims dogs increase muscle mass, lose weight and have less odorous stools when on the diet.

Picture above is packing machine

Warnings
Jorie Green, managing editor of VetCentric.com says the BARF diet is not substantiated with scientific veterinary medical research. In her article, “Should Your Dog Eat BARF?” she quotes Julie Churchill, a specialist in companion animal nutrition at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Churchill believes the BARF diet can be life-threatening, arguing the sharp edges of ground bones can damage internal organs, and cause infections resulting in costly surgeries. The article also discusses the possibility of bacterial infections from consuming raw meat.

Interesting Fact
In a 2007 article on worldwidehealth.com veterinarian John Burns questions Billinghurst’s claims that the bacteria found in feces acts as a probiotic lining a dog’s intestinal tract with beneficial bacteria. However, Burns notes, that Billinghurst does not recommend feeding your dog feces. Instead, he suggests that yogurt will give your dog the necessary beneficial bacteria.
Dog lovers commonly ask me this question: “My dog didn’t eat today – should I worry?”
Today I’d like to answer that question.

In nature, many dogs eat when they get a meal – often a “kill” – which could be every day or every few days. We find that domestic dogs will often eat every other day – that is very common, particularly in larger breed dogs.

We find some breeds and dogs are even less consistent in their eating patterns as the summer approaches and the temperature gets warmer.

The question is, should you WORRY if your dog won’t eat.

The answer is – it depends.

If your dog doesn’t want to eat one meal but is otherwise drinking, acting playful, and having normal bowel movements and urination with no vomiting, then I probably would not worry. If your dog is lethargic, if his gums are pale, if he seems weak, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, then I would worry. See your veterinarian.

Golden Retriever is my childhood dream to get a dog. I started my first job after. Jacky is a sharing pocket money with my sister and I bought him home from the pet store. He was born in 2001, September 5, he and my birthday on September 4 a difference of 1 day, and this is I love and feel how wonderful and meaningful and to celebrate birthday. I still remember when he was 7 weeks time, his chubby appearance, large eyes, simple-minded, like, really Jiaoren put it down, wait for them to immediately take him home. He is the first dog to accompany me through joys and sorrows of life have also changed my life. Our margin on from the beginning. When he came to my house on day 1, was busy taking care of his daily diet, training, toilet and so on. One went off work to go home immediately, I just want to play with him, what is not reasonable, can not wait to go to work every day with him, play. Particularly good mood. Increase the number of home atmosphere.
When he was 6 months old, I started to take him to training classes learn basic obedience training. And he is very brisk, agile, lively and intelligent, to learn. I still remember, when he graduated obedience Course, also is a big generous in around the age of, MKA host dog obedience competition, I will take part in a competition. Also live together with luck everyone hope will be temporary, and we won the national first four! This is our first game Yeah, it really makes me incredibly Yeah! Then every game, he never let me down, always among the best in the former three, and won many awards. His reputation is also well known. As a master of me, proud and glorious.
Human and dog, along really a very profound knowledge. To give love and time, care, patience, tolerance, training, and many more bits and pieces. This dog want to know what? They want what? What they need?

Original monotonous life, since Jacky’s join my social circle; my life from infected colorful colors especially in the dog sector. I have to admit that Jacky’s help to strengthen my self-confidence and career. No Jacky’s, not Steven Tan in the dog world!!
Before I go to Taiwan (11Arp2010), I have promised to him, so he retired and plan to take him to Kelantan in August vacation, but did not last long in, Jacky’s … he was sick he was tired .. down, he only accompanied me for 10 years, left me! This fight really makes me unacceptable. Maybe he is really tired! Take a long, long time to rest stop! No longer with us anymore!

About
LEONBERGER Breed
BRIEF HISTORICAL SUMMARY : At the end of the thirties, beginning of the forties of the 19th century, Heinrich Essig, town Councillor in Leonberg near Stuttgart, crossed a black and white Newfoundland bitch with a so-called “Barry” male from the monastery hospice Grand St.Bernhard. Later a Pyrenean Mountain Dog was added. This resulted in very large dogs with predominantly long, white coats. Essig’s aim was for a lion-like dog. The lion is the heraldic animal of the city of Leonberg.
The first dogs really called “Leonbergers” were born in 1846. They combined the excellent qualities of the breeds from which they stemmed.
Only a short time later, many of these dogs were sold as status symbols from Leonberg all over the world. At the end of the 19th century, the Leonberger was kept in Baden-Württemberg as the preferred farm dog. His watch and draft abilities were much praised.
In both World Wars and the needy post war times, the numbers of breeding stock reduced dramatically. Today the Leonberger is an excellent family dog which fulfills all the demands of modern life.
UTILIZATION : Watch, Companion and Family Dog
By TRANSLATION : Mrs. C. Seidler, revised by Mrs E.Peper ORIGIN : Germany.

In Loving Memory for Peanut 05/04-2001 – 26/02-2010, Peanut from Darmark Family, Her owner is Julie Sander Lindgren, she is my friend from Facebook. Peanut was sick due to illness, It was hard the decision to euthanize dog is one of the hardest you’ll have to make, but it’s the most humane way to say goodbye to old friend who’s in pain.
Take your friend yourself, wrapped in her favorite blanket with a favorite toy or treat. Remember, the last sensations your dog will experience are the sound of your voice and your reassuring smell, the things she loved during her life. Rest in peace.

By Clement

Last words from your Mom :
- my dear , my love, my companion through life.
Our life together has been with love from the first sight. When I got sick with bad kidneys and nearly died , not once but two times, the thought of you and Mingo , brought me back from the dark tunnels of my life.
With you eyes of understanding my hurt, and licking the tears from my eyes, you have been my true companion all the way through. You made me smile on a rainy day , and I use to sing : “ You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.
You make me happy when sky’s are grey.
You never notice how much I love you -
please don’t take my sunshine away.”
The 26 of feb. 2010 , my sunshine was taken away , it’s cold and Im freezing. But Im still breathing, Im still breathing , Im still breathing,- even though my heart stopped beating when you died. My heart is ripped to thousand pieces, and Im so afraid I can’t heal. The aching in my body , my mind and my broken heart, is not going away, even though I try to go one with my life.
I have to be there for the others , for Mingo , she misses you like crazy , and I don´t know if she knows.
The empty pillows and blankets were you alway lay on , is empty and the screaming silence , seems so loud in my ears, only my aching heart is to be heart. I love you more than any word can say or any poem or song can express, I hope you know that.

You where the little one, “lille”, “Pretty” , “ Mohi” and “Prettypooh”, sweet child have manny names, and you were our “kind” of child, because I couldn’t get any children of my own. Maybe that is why letting you go is hurting so much more.
Now you rest beside Isabel in the garden you love so much. Risby is where you have to take your last journey across the Rainbow Bridge in to the gates of heaven.

Please wait for us till we see you again , and forgive me the choice I made to let you go. Even though people say , that was for your best , and it was !!, I never will come to term with playing God. Who am I , to decide who should live or die. I feel so guilty ! Guilty that I did not discover your illness before to late. That I didn’t tell the vet about the lump I have found. That I didn’t think enough of it. I hate myself everyday not have done you right , and been a so selfish. I should have known, I should have seen , that you had a bad day. I did not !
PLEASE FORGIVE ME.
My love for you will never die, and you will be forever in my heart, I’ll never forget you. I beg you to watch over our Twins and be their guardian angle. I have learn my lesson, and I promised you I will never make the same mistake again.

This is goodbye – I have to let you go, even though my heart is aching, my tears is running down my cheeks. We will see each other again – I Promise – I Promise you, and then I will never leave you again – I promised.
My sweet little Peanut, my eternal love will be with you and guide you through the tunnels of darkness till you reach the shining light that you deserve . Be in peace my love – I will hold you in my arms in my dreams, kiss you like I use to – till we meet again…… I love you…. see you soon…. my love…. my Peanut
